Toronto Yacht Club Brokerage
An honest read on every boat we sell.
Toronto Yacht Club Brokerage operates from three Ontario marinas and the same shop floors that prep boats for paying customers. When we list a boat, we know what we're looking at.
Why List With Us
Three things no one else in Ontario offers together.
On the docks where the boats are.
Krates Marina in Keswick, Driftwood Cove in Port Severn, and Grand Harbour in Brechin. Plus mobile service across the Toronto area. We see the boats every season, in and out of the water.
We're the shop, not just the broker.
We are a working marine service shop. When a boat needs a detail, gel coat work, or canvas to show its best, we can do it in house, and we walk through what is worth doing on the first call.
Plain commission, costs at cost.
10% commission, paid by the seller from the proceeds at close. Lien searches, registration fees, and third-party reports are passed through at cost. You see the receipts.
How It Works
How we sell your boat, start to finish.
Listing call
We walk the boat with you. Honest pricing, honest condition, honest timing. If the boat isn't ready to list or the price won't move it, we say so.
Prep
Interior and exterior detail. The boat shows the way it should before anyone sees a photo. Prep is a per-boat conversation, and we walk through costs and what's included on the listing call.
Listing assets
Honest photos, wide and detail. A written walkthrough covering hull, gel coat, canvas, cosmetics, and structure. For select listings, professional drone video and a cinematic walkthrough.
Marketing
We put the boat in front of our network: past customers, marina contacts, and buyers who come to us directly.
The deal
We handle offers, the survey period, the paperwork, and the registration transfer. You sign the bill of sale and collect the proceeds.
What We Tell You
What we tell you, and what we back up.
We work on boats every day. We know them inside and out: hull, gel coat, canvas, structure, cosmetics, and the mechanical side too. We know engines.
On every boat we sell, the engine and mechanical systems are confirmed by an independent marine survey, with a mechanic of the buyer's choosing. Not because we cannot read an engine, but because an independent check is what protects both sides and makes a deal hold up.
We would rather a deal stand on its own than oversell a boat and burn the relationship.
