Dock rash and gouges
Ground back to sound material, filled, faired and sanded flat before any colour goes on.
Our shop is at Krates Marina on The Queensway. Dock rash, prop strikes, stress cracks and blisters get repaired, faired and colour matched here, for boats from Keswick, Sutton, Jackson's Point, Pefferlaw and the rest of south Lake Simcoe.
If your boat is slipped or stored at Krates, it is already at our shop. If it is at another marina in Georgina, topside damage can often be repaired where the boat sits. Anything below the waterline needs the boat hauled and the laminate dried first, so that work happens in the shop.
Ground back to sound material, filled, faired and sanded flat before any colour goes on.
Stress cracks and spider cracking around hardware get opened up and repaired from the inside out. Filling over a crack without opening it means it comes back.
Blisters, keel and skeg damage, and grounding damage. The boat comes out, the laminate dries, then the repair goes on.
Matched to your hull as it looks today, not the factory colour, then wet sanded and polished so the repair blends in.

Deep gouges through the gelcoat on a topside panel, repaired and colour matched.
Fall is the easiest time. The boat is coming out anyway, the laminate has time to dry, and the repair is done before launch. Tell us your haul out date when you send photos.
A good repair is invisible from a few feet away in normal light. Up close, under direct sun, on a dark or faded hull, you may still find it. We will tell you which one your boat is before we start.
Tell us about the damage and upload clear photos. Photos are how we quote this work.
Yes. We work at marinas, storage yards and private property across Georgina and south Lake Simcoe. Below-waterline repairs come into the shop.
From photos. Send a close shot of the damage and a wider shot of the hull around it.
Yes. We supply photos of the damage and a written estimate for your insurer.
A single gouge can be a day. Blister work runs longer because of drying time. You get a real timeline with the quote.
