Shrink wrap is the difference between a boat that comes out of winter dry and one that comes out with mould in the cushions. We build a frame, wrap the boat tight, vent it so it breathes, and finish it so the cover is still on in March.
We wrap at all three of our shops: Krates Marina in Keswick, Driftwood Cove in Port Severn, and Grand Harbour in Brechin. We also run a mobile shrink wrapping service. Our installers come to your marina, your storage lot or your driveway across Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay, Toronto and the GTA. On a trailer, on a cradle, or on stands.
We take a limited number of shrink wrap bookings each season, so every boat gets wrapped before the weather turns.
Quotes are by the foot. Tell us the length of the boat and when it comes out of the water, and we will send you a price.
Shrink wrap is one piece of winterizing a boat. If you want the hull cleaned, the canvas repaired or the boat winterized while it is out of the water, say so on the form and we will quote it all together.

Every wrap includes 4 vents and 4 moisture absorbers for humidity control. Extra vents and extra absorbers are available at additional cost.
Every wrap includes 4 vents and 4 moisture absorbers for humidity control, so air moves through the cover and the boat stays dry over the winter. Extra vents, extra moisture absorbers, a zipper access door and separate mast wrapping are available at additional cost.
We quote by the foot. Length is the main factor, then boat type and any add ons like a zipper door or extra vents. Send us the details and we will price it.
Early. Spots fill, and marina haul out schedules back up through November. The sooner we know when your boat is coming out, the better we can slot you in.
No. Tell us where the boat is and how it is sitting, and we handle it.
Yes, if you ask for a zipper access door when you book. Retrofitting one later is harder than putting it in the first time.
Yes. Our installers wrap at your marina, storage lot or driveway across Lake Simcoe, Georgian Bay, Toronto and the GTA. The boat can be on a trailer, on a cradle or on stands, and you do not need to be there.
Yes. We do not have a shop in the city, so Toronto and GTA boats are wrapped on site by our mobile crew. If the boat is already coming north for haul out, we can wrap it at one of our three marina shops instead.
